Lasell University Nick Gird, of Billerica, a sophomore at Lasell University in Roxbury and a member of the men’s track and field team, ran the 60-meter dash in 7.37 seconds on Dec. 7, placing 19th among 77 entries. His time was a school record, bettering the time of 7.38 set by Ben Lane in February 2019.
