It was a hands-on meeting for Billerica School Committee members last week, with the group taking pencil to paper, practicing some of the newest methods district math students are being taught each day.The demonstration happened during the Tuesday, Nov. 12 meeting at the Parker Elementary School as a part of a STEM presentation given by K-7 STEM Coordinator James Sforza and Dr. Jill Geiser.
