Billerica native named Teacher of the Year

Billerica native Michelle Leigh Farrell, assistant professor of Spanish and Portuguese at Fairfield University, was recognized as a 2017 Alpha Sigma Nu Teacher of the Year.In addition to being a professor in the Spanish program, and directing the Portuguese language program, she is also the co-director of the Latin American and Caribbean Studies program.
